Sarah Rosado is a self taught Artist from New York City.
Her new project which is aptly named “Celebrity Cereal Portrait” was created using corn flakes shaped into images of famous celebrities.
It is a long and tedious process that involves a tremendous amount of time and effort.
Sarah claims she came up with the idea one morning whilst eating cereal and listening to oldies and R&B music claiming “because music has never tasted so good”.
According to Sarah each piece takes about five hours to create.
A sketch of the artist is first drawn, the cereal is crushed in different sizes and carefully placed along the sketch.
A pin is then used to carefully shape the nose, eyes and mouth. I love creating and experimenting with new ideas and challenging myself.
It’s a drive that pushes me to a different level each time which is very rewarding.
The impressive examples can be seen below or you can check out more of her work via her website here.
