Paul Rodriguez, one of the, if not the best skateboarder around today has seen many changes over the years, from his early days on City stars to his Nike SB signature shoe releases, but one thing over years has always been behind and around him Andy Netkin …. and Primitive.
Recently all of the footage seen of Rodriguez has been filmed on gold skateboards, which would ultimately lead to the birth of Primitive Skateboarding.
”To create my own board brand and have a chance to be a part of skateboarding beyond just being a pro skater is a dream come true,” Rodriguez said.
“I’m excited and proud to announce the arrival of Primitive Skateboarding and introduce our amazingly talented team riders, Nick Tucker and Carlos Ribeiro.”
Although the roster may seem short at the moment, Primitive plans on cherry picking some of the sports greatest, “hopefully without pissing off too many people.”
P-Rod took to none other than The Berrics to announce the arrival of Primitive Skateboarding in the latest edition of Trajectory. Peep the first and second installments below, then look for more news as it surfaces about Primitive’s future plans.
