The 80’s film that never was. Set in 1984, Vandroid is a comic realisation of a film that was never finished. When Palm Springs Entertainment studios burned to the ground in 1984, the most definitive motion picture of the generation was lost before its time.

A forgotten icon of a classic era, VANDROID bursts back onto the scene with a vengeance in a five-issue limited comic book series from Dark Horse Comics. Tommy Lee Edwards (Artist of Jonathon Ross’s Turf), Noah Smith and Dan McDaid unite to resurrect the lost epic of a washed up mechanic-turned cyberneticist, his technological masterpiece, and the corporate baddies who want to tear it all down!

And of course with every 80’s film it has a funky soundtrack.  Influenced by John Carpenter, Wendy Carlos, and Vladimir Cosma, artists from Ed Banger Records imagined the perfect soundtrack to an unreleased vintage B movie. Evoking a sense of nostalgia and a sci-fi synth ambience, the Vandroid Soundtrack Limited Edition LP is out now.

Get your copy at Club 75.

There is also now a music video to accompany the soundtrack written and directed by Tommy Lee Edwards. Watch the Video here!
